The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:
Monday, Aug. 1, 2022:
- 5:29 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 17-year-old girl who ran away from home allegedly assaulted two deputies, 3600 block of South Oceana Drive, Shelby Township. The juvenile was held at the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office until she could be placed in the Ottawa County Juvenile Detention Facility.
- 1:15 p.m., (OCSO), a 35-year-old Shelby woman was arrested on a failure to appear warrant issued in Newaygo County on a charge of disorderly conduct, Oceana County Courthouse, City of Hart.
- 2:47 p.m., (OCSO), a 40-year-old Hart man was arrested for domestic violence, 900 block of Madison Road, Crystal Township.
Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022:
- 10:38 a.m., (OCSO), several miscellaneous items were stolen during a break-in, 1400 block of West Baseline Road, Hart Township.
- 5:47 p.m., (OCSO), larceny of a catalytic convertor from a 1998 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck, 7500 block of a68th Avenue, Colfax Township.
Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022:
- Midnight, (OCSO), a 39-year-old Muskegon Heights man was arrested on local warrants at the Muskegon County Jail and transported to the Oceana County Jail.
- 9:07 a.m., (OCSO), domestic assault, Forrest Avenue, Village of Rothbury.
- 1:32 p.m., (OCSO), illegal entry, 1800 block of West Jackson Road, Weare Township.
- 6:34 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 22-year-old Rodney, Michigan man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, US 31 near Shelby Road, Shelby Township.
