Suspects flee police in stolen car.

LEAVITT TOWNSHIP — Two suspects in a stolen 2010 Toyota Scion fled from police who were in pursuit of them Saturday, July 30, around 1:45 p.m. on North 176th Avenue, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

Deputies used stop sticks in an attempt to stop the fleeing car but were unsuccessful in the apprehension, said Mast.

The car was reported stolen in a different county.

• 12:11 a.m., a 32-year-old Hart man was arrested on a warrant for methamphetamine possession and for a driving without a license, South Griswold Street, City of Hart.
• 8:29 p.m., larceny of various automotive items valued at a total of $950, located in the 2200 block of West Woodrow Road, Shelby Township.
• 10:02 p.m., a 41-year-old Walkerville man was arrested on an outstanding warrant, East Deer Road, Leavitt Township.
• 11:39 p.m., a 46-year-old Spring Lake man was arrested for operating while intoxicated and resisting arrest, southbound US 31, Shelby Township.
• 11:55 p.m., a 44-year-old Hesperia man was arrested on a warrant, Maple Island Road, Greenwood Township.

Friday, July 29, 2022:

• 8:51 a.m., larceny of political signs, North Ottawa Lane, Pentwater Township.
• 7:05 p.m., a 70-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for disorderly conduct, South Riverview Drive, Newfield Township.

Saturday, July 30, 2022:

• 4:10 a.m., a 21-year-old Muskegon man was arrested on a warrant, East Cleveland Road, Greenwood Township. A charge of methamphetamine possession against a 21-year-old Muskegon man is pending lab results. 
• 8:11 p.m., a 21-year-old Pentwater man and a 20-year-old Pentwater woman were both arrested for operating while intoxicated, North 80th Avenue, Weare Township.
