HART — The following proceedings recently took place in Oceana County’s 79th District Court:

Arraignments

Hunt

Darryl Deshawn Hunt, of 497 Isabella Ave., Muskegon; State, Sheriffs’, Chiefs’ Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT); two counts of delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine/ecstasy. Probable cause hearing: Aug. 2 at 3 p.m. Bail: $10,000/cash/surety/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

  • Alexis Kristine Martinez, of 3604 Lever Rd.; Hart Police Department (HPD); assault and battery. Pretrial: Aug. 11 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $1,500/cash/surety/10 percent.
  • Gary Felkey Kane, of 1817 Lake Michigan Dr., NW, Grand Rapids; Oceana County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO): driving while license suspended (DWLS). Pretrial: Aug. 4 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $1,000/personal recognizance (PR).
  • Elessie Gabriel Walker, Jr., of 3232 MacArthur Rd., Muskegon; OCSO; second-offense DWLS. Pretrial: Aug. 4 at 9:30 a.m. Bail: $1,000/PR.
  • Michael Earl Yager, Jr., of 1552 S. 140th Ave., Shelby; Michigan State Police (MSP); operating while intoxicated. Pretrial: July 25. Bail: $500/cash/surety.

Sentencings

  • Bryan Patrick Lund, of 208 S. Madison St., Ludington, was found guilty July 14 of DWLS and was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for 30 days served. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
  • Jacob Derrick Cosselman, of 4233 S. 132nd Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty July 12 of transporting open intoxicants and was sentenced to $325 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
  • Nicole Amber Chenlo, of 856 Canterbury St., SW, Wyoming, Michigan, was found guilty July 14 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $450 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS was dismissed.
  • John Lewis Ruggles, of 865 Sippy Rd., Scottville, was found guilty July 14 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS was dismissed.
  • Richard John Yeager, of 3045 W. US 10, Ludington, was found guilty July 12 of second-offense operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to serve five days of a one-year discretionary jail term with credit for two days served and a 36-day suspended jail term; one year probation; driver’s license suspended one year with a restricted license after 60 days; and $1,200 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
  • Joseph Dayle Langley, of 1185 E. Wildwood Trl., Rothbury, was found guilty July 13 of transporting open intoxicants in a vehicle and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
  • Anthony John McKinnon, of 858 E. Wilke Rd., Rothbury, was found guilty July 13 of possessing open intoxicants in a vehicle and was sentenced to $350 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
  • Khristian Allan Frees, of 826 Eastern Ave., Plymouth, Wisconsin, was found guilty July 13 of possession of open intoxicants and was sentenced to $350 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
  • Andres Orville-Wallace Garcia, of 4741 N. 176th Ave., Walkerville, was found guilty July 14 of illegal disposal of solid waste and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs.

Dismissals

  • Gregory Joseph Fitzgerald, Jr., of 8935 W. 1 Mile Rd., Hesperia, charges of DWLS, operating without insurance and improper license plate were dismissed July 11. “The defendant has recently been convicted of a felony and sentenced to prison time,” court records state. “Interests of justice not served in pursuing this matter.”
  • Nicklaus William Tremayne, of 1831 Ashton Lane, Kent, Ohio, one count of disturbing the peace was dismissed July 15. “There is insufficient evidence to prove all the elements of this offense beyond  reasonable doubt,” his court file states.
  • Sydney Kianne Schuiteman, of 1415 Pennoyer Ave., Grand Haven, one count of failure to report an accident was dismissed July 15. “The interests of justice are not served in pursuing this matter,” court records state.
  • Robert Wallace Craker, Jr., of 1745 N. Water Rd., Hart, one count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed July 12.
