The following is activity of the Oceana County Sherrif’s Office over the weekend:

Friday, July 1, 2022:

• 9:55 a.m., embezzlement of over $1,000 at the Silver Lake Chicken Shack, Golden Township.
• 1:26 p.m., gas drive-off, Wishing Well, Pentwater Township.
• 3:37 p.m., a 27-year-old Granville, Michigan man was arrested for felonies of unlawful driving away of a motor vehicle and burglary, West Buchanan Road, Benona Township. The man allegedly stole a 1979 Chevrolet pickup truck used for farming from a pole barn that he burglarized. The truck was recovered by the Pentwater Police Department which was also investigating the same suspect for boat theft.
• 8:45 p.m., a 51-year-old Martin, Michigan man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, Winston Road, Grant Township.

Saturday, July 2, 2022:

• 6:33 p.m., vehicle crash, Silver Lake Sand Dunes, Golden Township. A 22-year-old Livonia, Michigan man was driving, and a 22-year-old Livonia woman was a passenger. No other information was immediately available.
• 6:52 p.m., larceny of miscellaneous camping equipment valued at $250, East Johnson Road, Leavitt Township. The intruder or intruders damaged a camper trailer door by prying it open to gain access.

Sunday, July 3, 2022:

• 9:34 a.m., a 39-year-old New Era man man was cited for driving without a license, North Michigan Avenue, Village of Shelby.
• 10 a.m., breaking and entering, North 28th Avenue, Golden Township. A .357 Magnum Ruger pistol valued at $400 and a Husqvarna chain saw valued at $800 were stolen.
• 9:37 p.m., drug overdose, victim transported by ambulance, East Yale Road , Otto Township.
• 10:54 p.m., a 42-year-old Eastpointe, Michigan man was cited for driving while license revoked, North Shore Drive, Golden Township.
• 11:08 p.m., a 22-year-old Shelby man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, North Wilson Road, Golden Township.

Monday, July 4, 2022:

• 11:08 p.m., a 37-year-old Milwaukee, Wisconsin woman was cited for driving while license suspended, North Ridge Road, Golden Township.
