Obituary: Fredric Schwickrath, 80, of New Era.

Fredric Louis Schwickrath, 80, of New Era, passed away Monday, June 6, 2022. He was born on January 2, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Fred Schwickrath Jr. and Juanita Broe.

Fredric graduated in 1960 from Fenger High School, in Chicago. After graduating high school, Fredric proudly served our country in the United States Army Reserve until 1969. He enjoyed cooking, cars, fishing, and snowmobiles.

Fredric is survived by: his children, Cheryl Kemp (Tim O’Connell), Jeanine (Matt) Wildfong, and Christine (Barry) Eitniear; brother, David Schwickrath; grandchildren, Keith Radomski, Katie Wildfong, Kyle Wildfong, Dentiny Eitniear, and Aaron Eitniear; nephew, Matt (Carrie) Schwickrath; and niece, Cait Rose.

Fredric was preceded in death by his parents.

In accordance with Fredric’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services held at this time.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
