HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

  • Oscar Omar Gamez, of 252 N. Dennis Rd., Ludington, was found guilty April 4 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $1,170 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
  • Thomas Michael Kuhn, Jr., 52, of 1640 Ira Ave., NW, Grand Rapids, was found guilty March 31 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
  • Keaton Charles Cleland, 21, of 300 Duke Rd., Metamora, Michigan, was found guilty March 31 of hunting/possessing an animal/bird/fish without a license and was sentenced to an $85 fine.
  • Ryan Michael Welch, 20, of 1540 W. Winston Rd., Rothbury, was found guilty April 5 of trespassing and was sentenced to 30 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $250 in fines and costs.
  • William Bronson Hill, Jr., 46, of 7467 S. 88th Ave., Rothbury, was found guilty April 5 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to one year suspended jail and $400 in fines and costs.
  • Joshua Paul Evelhoch, 31, of 6316 Syers Rd., Holton, was found guilty April 5 of DWLS and was sentenced to one year suspended jail with credit for 14 days served and $450 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. A second count of DWLS was dismissed.
  • Corydon James Smith, 33, of 7909 Old Channel Trail, Montague, was found guilty Feb. 10 of domestic violence and was sentenced April 5 to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $400 in fines and costs.
  • Irene Estell Young, 67, of 2147 Valley St., Muskegon, was found guilty April 7 of DWLS and was sentenced to $250 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
  • Erika Mae Counterman, 37, of 2241 E. Ferry St., Shelby, was found guilty April 7 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $350 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS was dismissed.
