HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

Beth Ann Somero, 41, of 10709 Chase Rd., Montague, was found guilty Feb. 24 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to $525 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

Ines Santiago-Bautista, 31, of 4164 N. 120th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Feb. 24 of improper license and was sentenced to $425 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Dennise Maydon, 26, of 218 Washington St., Hart, was found guilty Feb. 24 of DWLS and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and $450 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed. 

Lisa Diane Moon, 55, of 8523 Old Channel Trail, Montague, was found guilty Feb. 24 of DWLS and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and $450 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.

Marisa Rene Garza, 27, of 141 W. Orchard St., Perry, Michigan, was found guilty Feb. 24 of operating without a license on person and was sentenced to $350 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. A second count of operating without license on person was dismissed.

Loretta Mae Gager, 38, of 2316 W. Pinewood Blvd., Bitely, was found guilty Feb. 24 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $375 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.

Gary Lee Kamorowski III, 28, of 282 Pine St., Shelby, was found guilty Feb. 22 of uncased firearm in vehicle and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $335 in fines and costs.

William Peter Gomber, 33, of 65 N. Elm St., Hesperia, was found guilty Feb. 25 of operating an unregistered vehicle and was sentenced to $350 in fines and costs.

Nicholas Robert VanderSloot, 33 ,of 156 Rose St., SW, Grand Rapids, was found guilty Feb. 25 of DWLS and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs.

Dismissals

Fred Arthur Christmas, 63, of Free Soil (street address not listed), one count of operating without insurance was dismissed Feb. 23.

Logan Richard Pasa, 25, of 8435 State Route, Jenera, Ohio, one count of operating an ORV on a highway or right-of-way was dismissed Feb. 23.
