WEARE TOWNSHIP — Several tools and other items were stolen during a breaking and entering in the 5300 block of North 108th Avenue, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.
The break-in to the work barn was reported Saturday, Feb. 19, shortly before 3 p.m. The intruder or intruders pried open a door to gain access to the building.
Stolen items include: a welding helmet valued at $100; a 20-ton bottle jack valued at $100; a Craftsman drill and impact set valued at $130; a torpedo heater valued at $200; several tools; and fuel.

Friday, Feb. 18, 2022:
- 9:38 p.m., a 35-year-old Walkerville man was arrested for second-offense operating while intoxicated, East Harrison Road near 200th Avenue, Leavitt Township.
Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022:
- 8:24 a.m., a 30-year-old Hesperia woman and a 31-year-old Hesperia man were arrested for domestic violence, 8200 block of East Garfield Road, Greenwood Township.
- 10:46 p.m., illegal deer possession, East Deer Road, Elbridge Township. A 22-year-old Walkerville man has been identified as a suspect. The case was turned over to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
Monday, Feb. 21, 2022:
- 3 a.m., a 42-year-old Hesperia man was cited for driving while license suspended and operating without insurance, East M 20, Greenwood Township.
Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022:
- 12:16 a.m., a 47-year-old Walkerville man was cited for driving while license revoked, East Main street, Village of Walkerville.
- 9:10 a.m., malicious destruction of property, North 18th Avenue, Golden Township. There was graffiti on the wall in the old garage at Mac Wood’s Dune Rides.
