Freezing rain up to a quarter inch expected.
OCEANA COUNTY — The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory beginning at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21, and it continues through Tuesday, Feb. 22.
Freezing rain is expected with total ice accumulations of one tenth to one quarter of an inch.
In addition to Oceana, counties impacted include Newaygo, Mecosta and Isabella.
“Travel could be difficult,” states NWS. “The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Scattered power outages are possible. Slow down and use caution while traveling.”
