HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

  • Rolando Quintero, 54, of 6700 Blue Lake Rd., Twin Lake, was found guilty Jan. 31 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days in jail with credit for one day served; outpatient treatment; and $955 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
  • Jose Juan Calvo-Jimenez, 26, of 3159 W. Garfield Rd., New Era, was found guilty Jan. 3 of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) and was sentenced Feb. 7 to 180 days suspended jail with credit for one day served; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $1,380 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
  • Jorge Antonio Molina II, 24, of 9451 Minnies Way Dr. NW, Sparta, was found guilty Jan. 3 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced Feb. 7 to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served; outpatient treatment; and $1,205 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
  • Michelle Danyelle Burch, 33, of 7556 Water Rd., Montague, was found guilty Feb. 7 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served; AHSE; and $1,255 in fines and costs. One count of failure to report an accident was dismissed.
  • Barbara Jean Edwards, 42, of 217 W. Fillmore Rd., Hart, was found guilty Jan. 27 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to $450 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
  • Reynaldo Mascarro, Jr., 40, of 1517 Los Laureles, Mercedes, Texas, was found guilty Jan. 27 of fishing on a closed trout stream and was sentenced to $425 in fines and costs.
  • David L. DeLong, 49, of 1730 Dame Rd., Whitehall, was found guilty Jan. 27 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
  • Tina Maria Castelo, 40, of 3955 W. Skeels Rd., Montague, was found guilty Jan. 27 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $350 in fines and costs. One count of learner’s permit violation was dismissed.
  • Kenneth Allen Gleason, 24, of 393 Elm St., Shelby, was found guilty Jan. 27 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to $450 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. A second count of DWLS was dismissed.
  • Brian David Holden, 49, of 2333 N. 32nd St., Fountain, was found guilty Jan. 27 of DWLS and sentenced to $450 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
  • Kerri Lynn Timmer, 33, of 68 N. State St., Hesperia, was found guilty Jan. 27 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $350 in fines and costs. Charges of DWLS and operating without insurance were dismissed.
  • Timothy John Halloran, 60, of 5092 Clearwater St., Norton Shores, was found guilty Jan. 27 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $350 in fines and costs. One count of violation of license restrictions was dismissed.
  • Jose Miguel Orozco, 33, of 44 Cutler St., SW, Grand Rapids, was found guilty Jan. 27 of DWLS and was sentenced to $200 in fines and costs.
  • Brian Richard Lindgren, 44, of 3572 N. Ridge, Mears, was found guilty Jan. 27 of dog running at large and was sentenced to $175 in fines and costs.
  • Francisco Delose Vasquez, 21, of 1908 48th Ave., Mears, was found guilty of DWLS Jan. 27 and was sentenced to $520 in fines and costs. A second count of DWLS was dismissed. Vasquez was found guilty of DWLS Feb. 9 and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. One count of transporting open intoxicants was dismissed. Convictions reportable to SOS.
  • Steven Anthony Szumal, Jr., 22, of 2692 W. Skeels, was found guilty Jan. 26 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $350 in fines and costs.
  • Cristina Silva Tecuapa, 42, of 15 Griswold St., Hart, was found guilty Jan. 28 of operating without a license and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs.
  • Jerry Lee Frick, 80, of Walkerville (no street address listed), was found guilty Feb. 1 of refusing to obey a traffic order and was sentenced to $250 in fines and costs.
  • Marcelino Rodriguez, 74, of 7072 N. 120th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Feb. 4 of operating without a license and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs.
  • Robbie Jay Rice, 49, of 207 S. Livingston St., Whitehall, was found guilty Feb. 8 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to one year suspended jail and $400 in fines and costs.
  • Mariah Kaylee Brown, 20, of 8563 Robinhood Dr., Montague, was found guilty Feb. 9 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS was dismissed.
  • Jonathan Carl Gale, 46, of 4372 N. Lincoln, Ludington, was found guilty Feb. 9 of using/allowing a deer kill tag of another and was sentenced to $475 in fines and costs.
  • Lathan Neil Shong, 19, of 315 Hatch Rd., Horton, Michigan, was found guilty Feb. 9 of operating an ORV on a highway or right-of-way and was sentenced to $450 in fines and costs.
  • Matthew Robert Duty, 39, of 64 S. Michigan Ave., Shelby, was found guilty Feb. 9 of allowing a person to operate in violation and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.
  • John Hasbany, 66, of 7577 Riverbend Dr., Branch, was found guilty Feb. 9 of DWLS and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.
  • Daryl Delapaz, 48, of 379 Laurel St., Walkerville, was found guilty Feb. 11 of possession of open intoxicants and was sentenced to $350 in fines and costs.
  • Allen Michael Parcher, 24, of 3840 Mayfield Ave., NE, Grand Rapids, was found guilty Feb. 11 of hunting/fishing without a license and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs.
  • Jason Scott Hern, 43, of 8210 92nd Ave., Rothbury, was found guilty Jan. 27 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $350 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.

Dismissals

  • Jason Eric Lopata, 50, of 1424 Hartrey Ave., Evanston, Illinois, one count of operating an ORV in a closed area was dismissed Jan. 28.
  • Gary Dean Meyer, Jr., 27, 2472 Lincoln Hwy., Ada, Ohio, one count of operating an ORV on a highway or right-of-way was dismissed Feb. 7.
  • Juan Carlos Lozardo-Lopez, (date of birth and address not listed), charges of operating without a license, operating without insurance and unlawful license plate were dismissed Feb. 9.
  • Kyler James Joseph Welch, 18, of 64 S. Michigan Ave., Shelby, one count of disorderly conduct was dismissed Feb. 9.
  • Francis Lloyd Tennant, 68, of 5721 S. Cherokee Bend, New Era, one count of failure to report an accident was dismissed Feb. 8.
  • Brandon Robert Splane,  20, of 417 Lincoln St., Hart, one count of domestic violence was dismissed Feb. 11.
