Obituary: Edith Louise Sible, 75, of Hart.
Edith Louise Sible 75, of Hart passed away Friday, January 28, 2022. She was born October 18, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio to Charles and Oma (Shell) Clifford. Edith graduated from Dayton High School and continued her education, earning certificates and college credits.
She married Donald Sible May 1, 1965 in Dayton Ohio. Edith and Don moved to Marion, Indiana and then to Muskegon, finally settling in Hart. She worked at Lakeshore Hospital in Shelby for a number of years before getting trained as one of the early electronic insurance bill filers for the health industry. Edith was active in the Hart Wesleyan Church, teaching Sunday school and other activities involving children. She loved music, Elvis and Bill and Gloria Gathers were her favorites. Edith had a quick wit and enjoyed sparing with Don, but all in fun. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her special joy and always a smile.
Edith is survived by her husband Don; her children, Rick ( Becky) Sible, Randy (Michelle) Sible and Peggy (Steve) Walsworth; brothers, Norman (Debbie) Clifford and Paul Clifford; sister, Ruthie Collier; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Marilyn Kissane and Sarah Gray, a brother-in-law Murry Coller, and granddaughter Brianna Sible.
Visitation is Friday, February 4 from 6-8 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home in Shelby. The funeral service will be Saturday, February 5, 2 p.m. at Hart Wesleyan Church. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials to Hart Wesleyan Church, 3757 W. Polk Road, Hart.
