Obituary: Michael Decker, 29, of Hart.

Michael Scott Decker, 29, of Hart, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, January 24, 2022, following a battle with cancer. He was born April 19, 1992, in Sturgis, the son of Steven and Heidi (Larsen) Decker.

Michael enjoyed reading, writing, walking his dogs Oso and Jace, shopping, and camping with his friends. He was a loving son, who was always happy and smiling.

Michael is survived by his parents; siblings, Aaron Decker, Austin LaBo, Mykenzie LaBo, Serena (Joe) Tyler, and Josiah LaBo; grandparents, Larry and Janet Decker, and Betty LaBo; aunt, Angela Larsen, and Kem (Robert) Hoopingarner; uncle, Stephen (Tracy) Larsen; aunts, Kim (Dan) Ater and Renay (Tim) Kedzierski; cousins, Peyton and Regan Hoopingarner, Logan Larsen, Anthony (Kayla) Larsen-Matz, and Shawn and Joanna Larsen; and numerous other loving friends and family.

Michael was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Harold and Sally Dodson; grandma, Billie Dodson; aunt and uncle, Connie and Mitch Foster; and cousins, Matt Dodson and Jim Dodson; brother, Dylan LaBo; grandfather, and Thomas LaBo.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m., Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel, 2370 North 72nd Avenue, Hart, with Pastor Rob Hambright officiating. Following the service, a luncheon will be held at the funeral home. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
