Drunk driving, assault arrests top police activity.
The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:
Friday, Jan. 21, 2022:
- 2:40 p.m, (Michigan State Police), a 41-year-old Shelby woman was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS), Oceana Drive near Winston Road, Village of Rothbury.
Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022:
- 1:19 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 22-year-old Bitely woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued in Newaygo County following a call of a possible domestic violence case, East Main Street, Village of Walkerville.
Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022:
- 1:43 a.m., (OCSO), a 55-year-old Twin Lake man was arrested for operating while intoxicated (OWI) on a snowmobile, South Division Street, Village of Hesperia.
- 8:36 p.m., (OCSO), three suspects — a 47-year-old woman, a 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old man — were arrested for assault and battery, North 160th Avenue, Elbridge Township.
Monday, Jan. 24, 2022:
- 3:05 a.m., a 22-year-old Shelby man was arrested for OWI, West Shelby Road, Shelby Township.
- 8:50 a.m., (MSP), a 52-year-old Grand Rapids man was cited for DWLS, Monroe Road near 72nd Avenue, Weare Township.
