First Baptist Church Christmas services Dec. 19 and 24.
HART — First Baptist Church members invite the community to join them for two special Christmas services, celebrating the season.
The “Christmas Celebration Service” is set for Sunday, Dec. 19. “Community members are encouraged to attend this special, exciting, music-filled Christmas service, celebrating the birth of Jesus,” states a press release from the church.
This once-a-year service features a dynamic message, engaging worship, and this year a special Christmas Choir presenting “Joy! A Suite for Christmas.”
Service starts at 10 a.m. Arrive a little early for coffee beforehand.
On Christmas Eve, FBC will offer a candlelight service beginning at 11:30 p.m. “Slip away from the hustle and bustle of Christmas preparations, turn down the lights, light a candle, and pause and reflect with other attendees on the wonder and miracle of Emmanuel; “God with Us.”
This acoustic service features hymns and carols, scripture readings, prayer, and the lighting of the Christ candle in the Advent wreath. At midnight, the bells will ring and Christmas will be ushered in with song.
