Police seek info regarding theft of copper wire valued at $4,000.

LEAVITT TOWNSHIP — The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of 1,335 feet of copper wire stolen from an irrigation system at Jackpine Farms on North 204th Avenue, according to Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

The wire is valued at $4,000, said Sheriff Mast. The larceny was reported Thursday, Dec. 9, around 11:30 a.m.

If anyone has information concerning this crime, they are asked to call the sheriff’s office at 231-873-2121.
