Police busy with multiple assault incidents.

The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021:

  • 2:57 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), assault, no arrests, 7400 block of South 200th Avenue, Greenwood Township.

Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021:

  • 8:20 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 34-year-old Shelby woman was arrested for assault, 7000 block of Driftwood Drive, Grant Township.
  • 12:30 p.m., (MSP), a 31-year-old Shelby man was arrested for failure to appear on a fugitive warrant, 7000 block of Shelby Road, Shelby Township.
  • 9:43 p.m., (OCSO), a 39-year-old Mears man was arrested for operating under the influence of drugs, West Lumberjack Drive, Golden Township.

Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021:

  • 1:38 p.m., (MSP), a 22-year-old Portage, Michigan man was arrested for assault, 1100 block of 96th Avenue, Shelby Township.
  • 2:53 p.m., (OCSO), trespassing, 4300 block of North 64th Avenue, Hart Township.
  • 7:30 p.m., (MSP), a 16-year-old male juvenile from Hart was apprehended for assault, 3600 block of West Lever Road, Hart Township.
  • 7:50 p.m., (MSP), a 17-year-old male juvenile from Walkerville was apprehended for assault, 8800 block of North Water Wonderland Court, Colfax Township.
