Winter weather advisory in effect until noon Wednesday.

OCEANA COUNTY — The US National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has issued a winter weather advisory beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, until noon Wednesday, Dec. 8.

The advisory includes Oceana, Mason, Lake, Newaygo, Muskegon and Ottawa counties. Total snow accumulations of 1-3 inches are expected.

“Plan on slippery road conditions,” states NWS. “The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute. Slow down and use caution while traveling.”
