Shelby man arrested for holding pistol to woman’s head.

FERRY TOWNSHIP — A 51-year-old Shelby man was arrested by Oceana County sheriff’s deputies after allegedly holding a 9 mm pistol to a woman’s head Saturday, Dec. 4, shortly after 1 a.m. in the 4600 block of South 132nd Avenue, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

“He held the gun to her head and told her she couldn’t leave,” said Sheriff Mast.

The man was arrested for felonious assault and lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

• 4:35 a.m., a 38-year-old Shelby man was arrested for second-offense OWI and domestic violence, 3000 block of East Warren Road, Ferry Township.

Monday, Dec. 6, 2021:

• 5:01 a.m., a 27-year-old Traverse City man was cited for driving while license suspended, Roosevelt Road, Grant Township.
