The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021:

  • 6:41 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), larceny of a tree stand valued at $160, Gale Road near 192nd Avenue, Newfield Township.

Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021:

  • 4:59 a.m., (OCSO), a 21-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for a felony of assault by strangulation and interfering with electronic communications, 9200 block of East Woodrow Road, Newfield Township.
  • 7:14 a.m., (OCSO), intoxicated person lying in the roadway, West Winston Road, Village of Rothbury. A 61-year-old Rothbury man was transported home.

Monday, Nov. 15, 2021:

  • 3 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 45-year-old Twin Lake woman was arrested for second-offense operating while intoxicated, US 31 near Stony Lake Road, Shelby Township.
  • 10:15 a.m., (MSP), a 40-year-old Walkerville man was cited for driving while license suspended, Harrison Road near Bogue Street, Village of Walkerville.

Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021:

  • 6:32 p.m., (OCSO), a trail camera valued at $65 was stolen, West Madison Road, Weare Township.
