Suspected drunk driver breaks leg in crash.

ELBRIDGE TOWNSHIP — A 33-year-old Hart man was transported to Mercy Health Partners in Muskegon by Life EMS for a broken femur following a single-vehicle crash on 112th Avenue near Tyler Road Wednesday, Nov. 10, shortly before 4 p.m., said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

“Alcohol and speed were factors in the crash,” said Sheriff Mast. The suspect, who is being charged with third-offense operating while intoxicated and second-offense driving while license suspended, went off the road and hit a tree with the 2008 Nissan Rogue he was driving. 

The man was the lone occupant of the vehicle.
