Couple arrested for heroin possession.

GRANT TOWNSHIP — A 32-year-old homeless man and a 37-year-old Rothbury woman were arrested by Oceana County sheriff’s deputies on South 108th Avenue Tuesday, Nov. 9, shortly before 2 a.m. on charges of heroin possession and obstructing justice, according to Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

The woman also faces a charge of driving while license suspended (DWLS). They were lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Friday, Nov. 5, 2021:

• 9:21 p.m., a 26-year-old Ludington man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, 62nd Avenue near Oceana Drive, Pentwater Township.

Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021:

• 10:02 p.m., a 22-year-old Rothbury man was cited for DWLS, 116th Avenue, Otto Township.
• 10:30 p.m., a 49-year-old Whitehall man was cited for no operator’s license, 116th Avenue, Otto Township.

Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021:

• 2:25 a.m., a 46-year-old Muskegon woman was arrested on a warrant, Sand Road near Skeels Road, Otto Township. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 4:46 a.m., a 43-year-old Hart man was arrested on a failure to appear warrant and charges of second-offense DWLS and transporting open intoxicants, US 31 near Winston Road, Grant Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 10:23 a.m., larceny of a catalytic convertor valued at $500 from a Ford F150 pickup truck, 102nd Avenue, Grant Township. Suspect’s safety glasses found at the scene.
• 9:05 p.m., a 21-year-old Shelby man was arrested for DWLS and operating without insurance, State Street near Enterprise Drive, City of Hart. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Monday, Nov. 8, 2021:

• 5:39 a.m., a 19-year-old Hart woman was cited for minor  in possession (MIP), South Oceana Drive near Baseline Road, Shelby Township.

Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021:

• 11:03 a.m., assault involving juveniles, 4700 block of South Maple Road, Newfield Township.
• 3:22 p.m., a 39-year-old Rothbury man was cited for operating without insurance, South Oceana Drive near Webster Road, Grant Township.

Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021:

• 2:10 p.m., a 43-year-old Pentwater man is a suspect in a domestic assault, Wayne Road, Pentwater Township.
