Obituary: Bruce Henrie, 60, of Mears. 

Bruce Edward Hendrie, 60, of Mears, died Sunday, November 7, 2021, after a long struggle with cancer.  He was born November 29, 1960, in Detroit, the son of Robert and Bertha (Williams) Hendrie.

Bruce worked for many years as a drywaller and painter.  In his spare time he loved building with rocks.

Bruce is survived by his sisters, Caroline (Tom Purcell) Hendrie of Canton and Susan (Robert) Akers of Mt. Morris, Illinois; his nephew, Michael LaRush; and many special friends and family in Mears.

Bruce was preceded in death by: his parents; and his brother, Charlie Hendrie.

Cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
