A year after his fiancée’s mysterious death, a playwright schedules a rehearsal for his new play, which proves to be a trap for her killer.
Two casts will perform this entertaining whodunnit murder mystery. Suggested audience age is 10 years old and up.
“It’s been a long time since we’ve been able to present a straight play,” said HHS Drama Club Advisor and Choir Director David Moul. “This is our first one since the fall of 2018. In 2019, we produced two musicals and then our production of ‘Our Town’ was cancelled in the spring of 2020 due to the pandemic. Last school year, we opted to put all our efforts into one show, since COVID restrictions made performances difficult. So, we are very excited to be back on the stage, entertaining with classic theatre.
“This production is a classic murder mystery drama — a whodunnit — which we’ve set in 1970s New York City. It’s filled with witty dialogue, intrigue, and a true-to-the-genre plot twist at the end. I think audiences will be shocked who the true culprit is. Come on out and support your local arts and theatre students.”
