Hesperia woman sentenced to prison for meth delivery.
HART — A 40-year-old Hesperia woman was sentenced to two to 20 years in prison for a felony conviction of delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine in 27th Circuit Court Monday, Oct. 25.
Angela Spencer, of 8706 1 Mile Rd., appeared in court from the Oceana County Jail via Polycom video conferencing. Judge Bradley G. Lambrix gave Spencer credit for 119 days served in jail.
Efforts to get Spencer into inpatient treatment didn’t work out.
“That struggle is likely to continue,” said Judge Lambrix, adding that there are programs available through the prison system that can help her with her substance abuse issues.
Spencer was sentenced to one year in prison in Newaygo County for a forgery conviction in 2014, according to Michigan Department of Corrections records. She was sentenced to 18 months in prison in Oceana County in 2016 for a conviction of possession of a narcotic/cocaine less than 25 grams.
