GOLDEN TOWNSHIP — Two people riding a Polaris RZR were involved in a serious crash at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes Saturday, Oct. 23, around 2:45 p.m., according to dispatch information.

Aeromed was dispatched to a landing zone at the Cornerstone Community Church to transport a female subject injured in the crash, and Hart Area Fire Department was dispatched to the church to set up the landing zone. The Aeromed helicopter ran into storms en route to Silver Lake from Grand Rapids and had to turn around, according to dispatch information.

Life EMS was dispatched to the crash scene at Test Hill. Both accident victims were unconscious, and one of them was ejected from the RZR.
