Farm to Table Harvest Festival Oct. 23.

SHELBY – The Shelby Farm to Table event is returning this year and will be bigger than ever. The 2021 Harvest Festival, which is set for Saturday Oct. 23 from noon to 7 p.m., is an event collaboration of Shelby Township, Shelby Village, Shelby Chamber of Commerce and Shelby Public Schools. 

The 2021 harvest festival, which is free to the public, will take place in downtown Shelby on Michigan Avenue. The event will kick off at noon with a performance by the Shelby High School Marching Band. During the harvest festival, Michigan Avenue will be lined with an antique car show, kids games, carnival rides, art booths, and farm market vendors. 

The Shelby Chamber of Commerce will have an apple pie auction, where the pies will be displayed for review at 12:30 p.m. and the auction will take place at 2 p.m. To cap off the event, a pig roast dinner will be available from 4-6 p.m. with the purchase of a dinner ticket. The cost for the dinner is $5 a person or $25 a family and includes roasted pig, baked beans, coleslaw and J&H Fleming Cider. Tickets can be purchase at the event or in advance at www.shelbyharvestfestival.com. In addition to the pig roast, additional offerings will be available for purchase from local vendors.

Schedule of Events

Noon: Harvest Festival event opens with Shelby High School Marching Band performance.
12:30 p.m.: Pies are displayed for the Shelby Chamber of Commerce for the pie auction.
2 p.m.: Shelby Chamber of Commerce pie auction begins.
4-6 p.m.: Pig Roast Dinner available with purchase of ticket.
