The following is Oceana County Sheriff’s Office activity over the weekend:

Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021:

9:04 p.m., a 28-year-old Hart man was arrested for driving while license suspended (DWLS) and a warrant, and a 28-year-old Rothbury woman was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon — a stun gun — and a warrant, Division Street, Village of Hesperia.

Friday, Sept. 17, 2021:

3:38 a.m., a 39-year-old Walkerville man was arrested for fleeing and eluding, resisting arrest, operating without insurance and a warrant, East Tyler Road near 166th Avenue, Leavitt Township. Suspected methamphetamine was confiscated, so it can be taken to a lab for analysis. Meth possession charges are pending against the suspect and a 22-year-old Walkerville man who was a passenger in the vehicle.

Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021:

10:50 a.m., bicycle/car crash, North 64th Avenue and West Fox Road, Hart Township. A 72-year-old Alto man was riding a bicycle and received minor injuries. He told police that he was distracted by a tractor that just went past him, and he did not see the 2011 Dodge Avenger approaching from the south. He said he proceeded through the intersection and ran into the driver’s side of the car, which was driven by a 16-year-old Hart girl. The bicyclist was wearing a helmet.

Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021:

2:44 a.m., a 21-year-old Hart man was cited for DWLS, First Street, Village of New Era.
7:24 p.m., child abuse involving a 12-year-old boy, South 104th Avenue, Grant Township. The case has been turned over to the detective bureau and Child Protective Services.
8:19 p.m., a 31-year-old Rothbury woman was arrested for felonious assault, South Forest Glen Road, Otto Township. The victim sustained a broken finger.

Monday, Sept. 20, 2021:

1:40 a.m., assault, East Loop Road, Ferry Township.
2:05 a.m., a 25-year-old Walkerville man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, Tyler Road, Elbridge Township.
