New choir director at Shelby.

SHELBY — Gustavo Morales has accepted the position at Shelby Public Schools as the middle school and high school choir director.

Morales graduated from Grand Valley State University with a bachelor’s degree in music education.

He will join the Shelby band students on their trip to Nashville this November along with a few choir students.

“I am very excited to be serving the choir program and community here in Oceana County and cannot wait to put on concerts after this pandemic,” said Morales.
