Texas men arrested for assaulting Florida man, woman.

HART — A 49-year-old man and a 21-year-old man, both from Rio Hondo, Texas, were arrested by the Hart Police Department for assault and battery after allegedly assaulting a 22-year-old Seffner, Florida man and 27-year-old Bradenton, Florida woman Saturday afternoon, Aug. 21, in the 1000 block of State Street, according to Hart Police Chief Juan Salazar.

 The men assaulted the victims by striking them in the face, said Chief Salazar. The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m.

 The men were lodged in the Oceana County Jail.  

 The Hart Police Department was assisted by the Michigan State Police.
