Police looking for missing Hart area man.

HART — The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in finding a missing Hart area man.

The sheriff’s office is seeking “any information as to the whereabouts of 48-year-old LaVern Michael Darke. 

“He is known to drive a rusty 2007 black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck,” said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast. The license plate number is DXV7504. “He was last in contact with his family two weeks ago (Aug. 6) and they are very worried about him.” 

Darke is 5’10” tall and weighs 185 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
