78th District Court sentencings, Aug. 18, 2021.

HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

  • Samantha Elizabeth Hawes, 28, of 6331 10th St., Twin Lake, was found guilty Aug. 16 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $1,105 in fines and costs. Charges of operating while intoxicated, failure to display a valid license, operating without insurance and transporting open intoxicants were dismissed. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
  • Logan Scott Davila, 18, of 5058 S. 180th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail and $200 in fines and costs. One count of improper license was dismissed.
  • Rayna May Ovitt, 41, of 6192 Whitehall Rd., Whitehall, was found guilty Aug. 16 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to one year suspended jail and $400 in fines and costs. One count of unlawful license plate was dismissed.
  • Promise S. Raeth, 34, of 8086 S. 56th Ave., Montague, was found guilty Aug. 16 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to one year suspended jail with credit for one day served and $400 in fines and costs.
