78th District Court sentencings, Aug. 16, 2021.

HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
- Hollis Elvin Edwards, Jr., 25, of 2725 E. Forrest St., Rothbury, was found guilty Aug. 5 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to $450 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of operating without security was dismissed.
- Braedon Daniel Kibby, 24, of 3645 Pinto Rd., Kalamazoo, was found guilty Aug. 4 of a fishing violation and was sentenced to $325 in fines and costs.
- Raul Mendez Lopez, 37, of 288 Maple St., Shelby, was found guilty Aug. 5 of improper license and was sentenced to $350 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
- Melissa Moreno, 24, of Walkerville (street address unavailable), was found guilty Aug. 5 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $425 in fines and costs. One count of improper license was dismissed.
- Lelia Michelle Strait, 24, of 1521 Riblet Rd., North Muskegon, was found guilty Aug. 5 of a fishing violation and was sentenced to $375 in fines and costs.
- Victoriano Herevia-Garza, 34, of 3241 72nd Ave., Hart, was found guilty Aug. 11 of improper license and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs.
- Josh Joseph Tatro, 25, of 5722 Second St., Mears, was found guilty Aug. 11 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs. One count of improper license was dismissed.
