Shelby man sentenced to year in jail for CSC.

HART — A 23-year-old Shelby man was sentenced in 27th Circuit Court Monday, Aug. 9, to one year in jail for a conviction of third-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC). 

Devon Gray Henley, of 318 Elm St., pleaded guilty to the charge, Jan. 25. Henley had a consensual relationship with a 15-year-old girl when he was 21 years old, previously said Oceana County Prosecutor Joseph Bizon. 

Third-degree CSC is punishable by up to 15 years in prison. Sentencing guidelines in the case are 12-24 months.

Henley, who must register as a sex offender, received credit for three days served in jail.
