Occupants ‘very lucky’ as they only suffered minor injuries, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

GOLDEN TOWNSHIP — The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office shared a video of a crash at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes that occurred over the weekend.

“The occupants involved are very lucky as they only suffered minor injuries,” said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast. “The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office attends several crashes just like this or worse each year. We hope that everyone is able to enjoy the dunes, but uses the very most caution because these crashes can happen very quickly.”
