HPD nabs drunk driver.

HART — After receiving information of an intoxicated driver leaving the 4000 block of Polk Road Thursday, July 22, around 11:15 a.m., the Hart Police Department made a traffic stop on Polk Road near Oceana Drive, according to Hart Police Chief Juan Salazar.

A 67-year-old Hart man was arrested for operating while intoxicated (OWI) and lodged in the Oceana County Jail. 

HPD was assisted by the Michigan State Police.

• 6:45 p.m., a 51-year-old Hart man was arrested on an outstanding warrant, 400 block of State Street, City of Hart. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
