HART — The 44-year-old Detroit man accused of stabbing a man and assaulting another man and woman at the Lucky Lake Campground in Grant Township June 20 will undergo a psychological evaluation, according to Oceana County Prosecutor Joseph Bizon.
Mario Louis Corsetti, of 4134 Courville St., is charged with one felony count of assault with intent to murder, which carries a maximum sentence of life in prison, and two felony counts of assault with intent to commit great bodily harm less than murder, each of which are punishable by up to 10 years. He is lodged in the Oceana County Jail on a $1 million cash bond.
Corsetti’s attorney, Julie Springstead, made a motion this week before Judge H. Kevin Drake in 78th District Court for her client to undergo a psych evaluation, said Bizon.
The waiting period for a psych exam is normally about two to three months, said Bizon.
