78th District Court sentencings, July 15, 2021.

HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

  • Tyler Lee Sheehy, 21, of 6154 N. 144th Ave., Walkerville, was found guilty June 22 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $1,105 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). Charges of operating while intoxicated and failure to report an accident were dismissed.
  • Seth Daniel Bomers, 29, of 4507 King St., Montague, was found guilty June 10 of operating an ORV in a closed area and was sentenced to $375 in fines and costs. Once his fines and costs are paid in full, he can have the case dismissed, court records state.
  • Steven Allen Nadjkovic, Jr., 47, of 8310 Adams Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty June 10 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to $475 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
  • Steven Anthony Rodriguez, 41, of 8012 Iturbide, Weslaco, Texas, was found guilty June 9 of improper license and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
  • Dylan Scott Zuniga, 27, of 7918 Wood St., Rothbury, was found guilty June 10 of operating an ORV in a closed area and was sentenced to $375 in fines and costs. Once his fines and costs are paid in full, he can have the case dismissed, court records state.
  • Derek Wayne Worth, 39, of 7538 W. Log Rd., Mears, was found guilty June 10 of failure to report an accident and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs.
  • Mario James Cabrera, 30, of 1856 Roust St., Muskegon, was found guilty June 10 of DWLS and was sentenced to $450 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
  • Colin Ray Bush, 37, of 260 Sessions Rd., Shelby, was found guilty June 10 of DWLS and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. He was also found guilty of driving while unlicensed in a separate case and was sentenced to $570 in fines and costs. Convictions reportable to SOS. 
  • John Ernest Mason, 61, of 10883 Schow Rd., Holton, was found guilty June 10 of improper license and was sentenced to $350 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. 
  • Jeffrey Joseph McGhan, 48, of 1562 E. Bingham Ave., White Cloud, was found guilty June 10 of recreational trespassing and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Once fines and costs are paid, the plea may be withdrawn, court records state.
  • Annettra Marie Molencupp, 44, of 1516 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Lansing, was found guilty June 10 of DWLS and was sentenced to $450 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. A second count of DWLS was dismissed.
  • Lori Louise Turowski, 47, of 190 S. Hancock St., Pentwater, was found guilty June 7 of attempted assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer and was sentenced to one year suspended jail with credit for one day served and $485 in fines and costs. One count of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer was dismissed.
  • James Russell Dumbauld, 24, of 7386 Springbrook Dr., Jackson, Michigan, was found guilty June 17 of DWLS and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
  • Frank Joseph Giese, 62, of 9969 Parke Rd., Alanson, Michigan, was found guilty June 17 of operating an ORV on a public right-of-way and was sentenced to $275 in fines and costs.
  • Michael John Gonzales, 48, of 6782 W. Deer Rd., Mears, was found guilty June 17 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $350 in fines and costs. One count of transporting open intoxicants was dismissed.
  • Roxanna Rae Meyers, 37, of 379 Walnut St., Shelby, was found guilty June 17 of DWLS and was sentenced to $200 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
  • Brett Leigh Harold, 19, of 11523 Brucker Ave., Grant, Michigan, pleaded “on contest” June 21 to larceny less than $200 and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $400 in fines and costs. Plea may be withdrawn after six months if there are no further issues, court records state.
  • Star Ann Jewell, 19, of 315 S. State St., Hart, was found guilty June 22 of malicious destruction of a building less than $200 and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail and $400 in fines and costs.
  • Daniel Lee Nelson III, 30, of 6501 E. Rossell Lake Rd., Walkerville, was found guilty June 17 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS was dismissed.
  • Joel Zachary Slone, 20, of 56 Burr Oak Dr., Coopersville, was found guilty June 24 of a wildlife conservation violation and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Another charge of a wildlife conservation violation was dismissed.
  • Jeremy James Holman, 38, of 155 Sessions Rd., Shelby, was found guilty June 24 of DWLS and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
  • Lionnel Estrada, 22, of 249 W. North St., Walkerville, was found guilty June 24 of failure to report an accident to fixtures and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs.
  • Camren Michael Ellis, 21, of 5 N. Apple St., Hart, was found guilty June 24 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS was dismissed.
  • Nakoda Ray Shalifoe, 23, of 1093 Calvin Ave., Muskegon, was found guilty June 24 of hunting/fishing without a license and was sentenced to a $75 fine.

Dismissals

  • Alicia Mae Torrie, 37, of 2463 Whitetail Dr., Rothbury, charges of operating without insurance and improper license were dismissed June 14.
  • David Lee Kludy, 50, of 6699 W. Buchanan Rd., Shelby, one count of solid waste — disposal of refuse at a non-licensed facility was dismissed June 22.
  • Kody Ray Ramsvig, 17, of 5743 S. Okemos Tr., New Era, one felony count of assault with a dangerous weapon was dismissed, June 7.
