GMA’s Ginger Zee gives Silver Lake national spotlight.

GOLDEN TOWNSHIP — Popular TV personality and Michigan native Ginger Zee is featuring Oceana County during Good Morning America’s “Rise & Shine” series, which airs Wednesday morning, June 30, on ABC.

The ABC News chief meteorologist stopped at some summer hot spots in Oceana County including the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, Cherry Point Farm & Market and Mac Wood’s Dune Rides to feature on her segment.

Social media posts Monday, June 28, showed the celebrity visiting the locations with a film crew.

GMA last month kicked off a months-long effort, “Rise and Shine,” which has its anchors and correspondents visiting all 50 states over the next few months as the nation emerges from coronavirus conditions, states GMA’s website.

The segment is slated to air Wednesday from 8-9 a.m.
