No injuries in 3-vehicle crash.
HART — No one was injured in a three-vehicle crash Thursday, June 24, around 1 p.m. in the 4000 block of Polk Road, according to Hart Police Chief Juan Salazar.
“A 34-year-old Rothbury woman was stopped facing eastbound on Polk Road attempting to turn into the West Shore Bank parking lot,” said Chief Salazar. “A 17-year-old Hart man, who was also travelling eastbound on Polk Road, began slowing down after noting the woman waiting to turn into the parking lot. A 24-year-old Shelby man also was travelling eastbound on Polk Road became distracted and ultimately rear-ended the Hart man which pushed his vehicle into the Rothbury woman’s vehicle.”
The Shelby man was cited for failure to stop within an assured clear distance and no insurance, said the chief.
The Hart Police Department was assisted by the Michigan State Police.
