Hart man arrested for squatting, violating parole.

The following is police activity in Oceana County over the weekend:

Friday, June 18, 2021:

  • 11:20 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 28-year-old Hart man was arrested for parole violation and squatting, North 72nd Avenue, Hart Township.
  • 9:30 p.m., (OCSO), a 35-year-old Twin Lake man was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS) and an investigation into the possession of stolen property continues, East Harrison Road, Village of Walkerville.

Saturday, June 19, 2021:

  • 5:01 a.m., (OCSO), a 52-year-old New Era man was arrested for operating while intoxicated (OWI), South Oceana Drive, Shelby Township.
  • 6:25 p.m., (OCSO), larceny, South Oceana Drive, Grant Township. Motor vehicle parts were reported missing.
  • 8:59 p.m., (OCSO), assault and battery, West Lever Road, Hart Township.

Sunday, June 20, 2021:

  • 1:30 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 44-year-old Detroit man was arrested for assault and battery, 3200 block of Winston Road, Grant Township.
  • 6:53 a.m., (OCSO), burglary and damage to business property, West Hazel Road, Golden Township. Tobacco paraphernalia was stolen.
