BENONA TOWNSHIP — The Shelby-Benona Fire Department was dispatched to Benona Township Park/Stony Lake Oval for a possible water emergency on Lake Michigan Saturday, June 19, shortly after 10:30 a.m. A sailboat is possibly in distress, according to Central Dispatch.
