Methamphetamine/MDMA possession yields jail term.

HART — A 32-year-old Walkerville man convicted of methamphetamine/MDMA possession was sentenced in Oceana County’s 27th Circuit Court Monday, June 14, to 90 days in jail with credit for six days served.

Antonio John-Renee Welcom, of 3259 166th Ave., pleaded guilty to the charge April 7, and in exchange, a second-offense cocaine delivery charge was dismissed.

Welcome was scheduled to go to trial April 7-9.

He was also sentenced to two years probation. He was ordered to report to the Oceana County Jail, Aug. 16, which allows him to complete physical therapy due to an arm injury. 

Welcom appeared in court via Zoom video conferencing due to COVID-19.
