Fourth of July fireworks back on for 2021.
OCEANA COUNTY — Fourth of July fireworks displays will once again light up the skies this year after COVID-19 canceled the events last summer.
Hart will light off fireworks Friday, July 2; Pentwater, July 3; and both Silver Lake and Hesperia will have fireworks on the Fourth of July.
HART — FRIDAY, JULY 2: There will be games and plenty of food as well live music by the Rocketfuel Haulers from 7-10:15 p.m. The city sponsors this celebration in conjunction with the HEART office. Fireworks are shot off over Hart Lake at dusk.
PENTWATER — SATURDAY, JULY 3: Organizers are planning to have a fireworks display over Lake Michigan. Viewers can watch them from Charles Mears State Park, the Pentwater pier or from boats in Lake Michigan.
SILVER LAKE — JULY 4: The Silver Lake Sand Dunes Area Chamber of Commerce will host the annual fireworks show at the Silver Lake State Park. Thunder Over the Dunes provides a spectacular fireworks display in a unique setting. Watch from the dunes and around the lake. Fireworks start at 10 p.m.
HESPERIA — JULY 4: The fireworks are part of the annual Hesperia Family Fun Fest, which runs July 3 and 4. Events being planned include a parade, art and crafts fair, beer tent, food booths, raffle, horse pull, 5K race, and more. The fireworks display will be shot off in downtown Hesperia at dusk.
