Motorcycle stolen in break-in.

NEWFIELD TOWNSHIP — A 2004 Honda CRF100 motorcycle valued at $2,000 was stolen during a breaking and entering in the 8900 block of East Loop Road that was reported to the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday morning, June 8, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

In a separate incident, an orange Kawasaki youth ATV was reported stolen on South 112th Avenue in Otto Township Monday morning, June 7. The seat is ripped on the left side.

Monday, June 7, 2021:

  • 5:36 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), larceny of a 20-inch TV valued at $200, 4700 block of North 176th Avenue, Leavitt Township.

Tuesday, June 8, 2021:

  • 2:53 p.m., (OCSO), impersonating a police officer. A male suspect pulled over a male motorist using red and blue flashing lights and left the scene, 176th Avenue near Deer Road, Leavitt Township.
  • 8:01 p.m., (OCSO), a 33-year-old Walkerville man was arrested for driving while license suspended (DWLS) and carrying a concealed weapon, 192nd Avenue, Leavitt Township.
  • 9:18 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 55-year-old Shelby man was arrested for operating while intoxicated and operating without insurance, 132nd Avenue near Pierce Road, Ferry Township.
  • 10:49 p.m., (OCSO), a 31-year-old Muskegon man was arrested for domestic violence, 8500 block of South Robinhood Drive, Grant Township.

Wednesday, June 9, 2021:

  • 1:08 a.m., (OCSO), breaking and entering, 7400 block of South 142nd Avenue, Otto Township. An entry door was damaged. Stolen property information not immediately available.
