Pentwater Women’s Club awards scholarships.

PENTWATER — The Pentwater Women’s Club announced the 2021 Pentwater High School Senior Scholarship Awardees who include: Elizabeth Arnounts, Delaney Bryce, Justine Murphy, Grace Powers, Paige Ruggles and Johnathon VanDuinen.

The scholarship presentations were made at the recent Pentwater High School Awards Ceremony.

This year marks the 46th year the Pentwater Women’s Club has awarded scholarships for post high school educational plans and, in recent years, has added an additional scholarship to a returning student to West Shore Community College.

The Art & Wine Event, sponsored by the Pentwater Women’s Club, is the major fundraiser that supports the student scholarships. This year’s Art & Wine Event will be Sunday, Aug. 22, at the Park Place, 310 N. Rush Street, Pentwater. Tickets will go on sale soon.
