Silver Lake Sand Dunes Jeep Invasion this weekend.

SILVER LAKE — The Fifth Anniversary Silver Lake Sand Dunes Jeep Invasion, which has a new home this year at Golden Township Park, is set for this weekend, June 4-6.

Hundreds of Jeep vehicles are expected. Now in its fifth year, the Jeep invasion continues to unite Jeep vehicle owners and enthusiasts as they share their passion for their vehicles and the “Jeep-centric” lifestyle.

New this year, the event has teamed with the West Michigan Motorsports Park to bring a new and exciting off-road course experience to all registered Jeep Invasion participants. West Michigan Motorsports Park will be open only for Jeep Invasion participants Saturday, June 5, from noon to 7 p.m. All participants are welcome and no special vehicle requirements are needed. The course will feature multiple obstacles, logs, terrain changes, and other features.

Trail rides, sponsored by Gold Eagle, are also on tap Saturday beginning at noon, with the last trail ride set for 4:30 p.m. Advance registration is required for the trail rides and participants must be a registered participant of the Jeep Invasion. All trails are moderate level and have a maximum 25 Jeep vehicles per trail ride.

A pro-judged Show-N-Shine competition will award Jeep owners in a variety of categories at Golden Township Park. The judging will take place on Friday, June 4, from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday, June 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The awards are set for 7 p.m. Saturday at the JKS Main Stage.

The Jeep Parade to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes is set for Saturday, June 5.

The Performance Marketplace will feature industry-leading brands, spotlighting the latest parts, products and services, with many vendors offering special “show-only” pricing.

A DJ and entertainment will be featured at the JKS Main Stage. Also, Michigan-based food trucks will be on hand to provide a variety of food and beverage options.
