The following is police activity in Oceana County over Memorial Day weekend:

Friday, May 28, 2021:

• 3:25 a.m., (OCSO), assault and battery between intoxicated siblings, East Polk Road, Elbridge Township. A report is being sent to the Oceana County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
• 7:16 p.m., (OCSO), a 30-year-old Hart man was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS), Cottage Drive, City of Hart.
• 9:32 p.m., (OCSO), a 34-year-old Odessa, Michigan woman was cited for open intoxicants, West Filmore Road, Golden Township.
• 11:16 p.m., (OCSO), fleeing and eluding, North 34th Avenue, Golden Township. Three people fled from police on an ATV at a high rate of speed. “The pursuit was terminated for citizen safety concerns,” said Lt. Shane Hasty.

Saturday, May 29, 2021:

• 6:50 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 26-year-old Hesperia man was arrested on a failure to appear warrant, Johnson Road, Ferry Township. He was lodged in the Newaygo County Jail.
• 7:19 p.m., (OCSO), assault and battery, South Maple Island Road, Newfield Township.
• 7:37 p.m., (OCSO), a 31-year-old Fruitport woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated (OWI) and child endangerment, North Shore Drive, Golden Township.
• 8:01 p.m., (OCSO), a 46-year-old Fremont man was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS), East Hawley Road, Newfield Township.
• 10:21 p.m., (OCSO), neighbor dispute, North White Birch Drive, Golden Township.
• 11:22 p.m., (OCSO), a 20-year-old Howell, Michigan man was arrested for OWI and his 19-year-old passenger was cited for open intoxicants, North Shore Drive, Golden Township.

Sunday, May 30, 2021:

• 2 a.m., (OCSO), a 22-year-old Muliken, Michigan man was arrested for OWI and a 23-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Mecosta County warrant, West Silver Lake Road, Golden Township.
• 12:35 p.m., (OCSO), a 48-year-old Grand Haven woman was cited for DWLS, West Monroe Road, Weare Township.
• 1:51 p.m., (OCSO), assault and battery, West Silver Lake Road, Golden Township. A 17-year-old man and a 42-year-old man from Northville, Michigan — who are father and son — are suspected of assaulting two other men, said Lt. Hasty.
• 3:11 p.m., (MSP), a 41-year-old Walkerville man was cited for DWLS, 176th Avenue and VanBuren Road, Leavitt Township.
• 4:42 p.m., (OCSO), a 30-year-old Holton, Michigan man was arrested for third-offense OWI and DWLS, East Roosevelt Road, Greenwood Township.
• 5:29 p.m., (OCSO), larceny, East Park Road, Otto Township.
• 5:39 p.m., (OCSO),  a 37-year-old Saginaw, Michigan man was cited for DWLS, 24th Avenue, Golden Township.
• 6:07 p.m., (OCSO), a 24-year-old Jackson man was cited for DWLS, North Shore Drive, Golden Township.
• 7:14 p.m., (OCSO), a 30-year-old Eaton Rapids, man was cited for DWLS, West Fox Road, Golden Township.
• 10:52 p.m., (OCSO), two mountain bikes valued at $1,100 and $600 were stolen from the Little Sable Point Lighthouse, West Shore Drive, Golden Township. 

Monday, May 31, 2021:

• 1:07 a.m., (OCSO), assault and obstructing a court order, South 168th Avenue, Greenwood Township, West Shore Drive, Golden Township. A 28-year-old Muskegon man out on bond in Muskegon County with a no alcohol condition was visibly intoxicated and registered on a preliminary breath test, said Lt. Hasty. The bond condition violation matter was turned over to Muskegon County.
• 8:15 p.m., (OCSO), methamphetamine possession, North 126th Avenue, Crystal Township. A 64-year-old Bitely man is a suspect. Charges are pending awaiting lab analysis results.
• 8:40 a.m., (MSP), an 18-year-old Hart man was arrested for domestic assault, 4700 block of 68th Avenue, Hart Township.
• 11:29 p.m., (OCSO), A 31-year-old Hart man was arrested on an outstanding White Cloud warrant, West Polk Road, City of Hart. He was turned over to White Cloud authorities.
