78th District Court sentencings, May 28, 2021.

HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
- Alexander Lee Evelhoch, 26, of 5292 N. Dickinson Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty May 17 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $1,130 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
- Brandy Geni Martinez, 44, of PO Box 160, Ludington, pleaded “no contest” May 18 to domestic violence and was sentenced to a $75 fine. One count of second-offense domestic violence was dismissed.
- Anthony Jevon Murphy, 29, of 1067 Ada Ave., Muskegon, was found guilty May 17 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
- Daniel Arthur Smith, 35, of 7792 S. 80th Ave., Rothbury, was found guilty May 11 of disorderly person — jostling and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $400 in fines and costs. One count of domestic violence was dismissed.
- Hailee Elizabeth Tarket, 21, of 8602 Robinhood Dr., Montague, was found guilty May 17 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served; outpatient treatment; and $1,140 in fines and costs. Charges of operating while intoxicated and DWLS were dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.
- Cynthia Louise West, 53, of 637 E. Clock Rd., Hart, was found guilty May 13 of dog running at large and was sentenced to $265 in fines and costs.
- Travis William Johnson, 40, of 2834 E. Monroe Rd., Hart, was found guilty May 19 of unlawful license plate and was sentenced to $275 in fines and costs.
- Adam Trevino, 36, of 4879 Williams St., Montague, was found guilty May 19 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $375 in fines and costs. One count of violating a restricted license was dismissed.
- Ariel Lynn Ware, 25, of 1295 N. Water Rd., Hart, was found guilty May 19 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $375 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS was dismissed. In a second file, she was found guilty of DWLS and was sentenced to $475 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. In a third and fourth file, charges of DWLS were dismissed.
- Andrew Lee Borgeson, 27, of 11386 N. 24th St., Montague, was found guilty May 19 of DWLS and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
- Daniel Lee Cygeirt, 33, of 7979 E. Garfield Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty May 20 of failure to report an accident and was sentenced to $450 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of failure to stop at a property damage accident was dismissed.
- Alondra Marisol Garcia-Gomez, 36, of 305 Runner St., Shelby, was found guilty May 19 of DWLS and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
- Jessica Elizabeth Hambright, 31, of 4045 Crestview Lane, Muskegon, was found guilty May 20 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $470 in fines and costs. Charges of operating without insurance and DWLS were dismissed.
- Jose Luis Herevia-Garza, 28, of 2565 W. Timberline Rd., Rothbury, was found guilty May 20 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $350 in fines and costs. Charges of operating without insurance and unlawful license plates were dismissed.
- Erin Iris Vanderberg, 27, of 1293 E. Wilcox St., White Cloud, was found guilty May 20 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $470 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS was dismissed.
- Bruce Keith Westerman, 34, of 6319 E. Fillmore Rd., Walkerville, was found guilty May 20 of failure to wear a snowmobile helmet and was sentenced to $475 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS — snowmobile was dismissed.
- Gerald Eugene Gustafson, 70, of 8693 N. Oceana Dr., Pentwater, was found guilty May 24 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail; outpatient treatment; and $1,155 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
- Anthony Gunnar Sovinski, 42, of 6279 W. Baseline Rd., Fremont, was found guilty May 24 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served; outpatient treatment; and $1,105 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.
- Phillip John Anderson, 40, of 1856 N. 56th Ave., Mears, was found guilty May 27 of solid waste disposal at a non-licensed facility and was sentenced to $475 in fines and costs.
- Israel Barrios, 23, of 2415 W. Meadow Lane, Rothbury, was found guilty May 27 of improper license and was sentenced to $350 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of failure to report a property damage accident was dismissed.
- Randy Allen Christiansen, 30, of 9331 E. Roosevelt Rd., Holton, was found guilty May 26 of DWLS and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
- Derek Dale Aho, 33, of 2701 Crystal Lake Rd., Whitehall, was found guilty May 27 of fishing salmon without a license upgrade and was sentenced to $350 in fines and costs.
- Benjamin Dewar Crawford, 35, of 801 Ogemaw St., Grayling, Michigan, was found guilty May 27 of fishing on closed waters and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs.
- Unique Jewell Ervin, 25, of 1687 Smith St., Muskegon, was found guilty May 27 of transporting open intoxicants and was sentenced to $345 in fines and costs.
- Timothy James Fox, 37, of 61661 M 43, Bangor, Michigan, was found guilty May 27 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $475 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS was dismissed.
- Roxanne Rae Meyers, 37, of 379 Walnut St., Shelby, was found guilty May 27 of improper license and was sentenced to $245 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
- Amber Lin Riedinger, 32, of 322 N. Elm St., Shelby, was found guilty May 27 of dog running at large and was sentenced to $265 in fines and costs.
- Michael William Steffes, 32, of 7308 N. 160th Ave., Walkerville, was found guilty May 27 of dog running at large and failure to license a dog and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs.
- Brian Michael May, 53, of 3875 W. Hammett Rd., Pentwater, was found guilty May 27 of forest fires — setting fire without reasonable precaution and was sentenced to $450 in fines and costs.
- Michael Lee Steffes, 52, of 5451 E. Deer Rd., Walkerville, was found guilty May 27 of DWLS and was sentenced to $450 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
- Richard James Davis, 32, of 1840 N. 56th St., Mears, was found guilty May 27 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days in jail with credit for 93 days served and a $75 fine. Conviction reportable to SOS.
- Edward Michael Cubitt, 20, of 3034 8th St., Muskegon Heights, was found guilty May 27 of improper license and was sentenced to $350 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of dog running at large was dismissed.
- Christopher Michael Calli, 48, of 6001 W M 115, Cadillac, Michigan, was found guilty May 27 of operating out of bounds at a state park and was sentenced to $425 in fines and costs.
Dismissal
- Andre Thomas Sigur, 30, of 22091 Vinewood Blvd., Taylor, Michigan, one count of DWLS was dismissed May 6.
