CSC tops 78th District Court felony arraignments.

HART — The following were arraigned recently in 78th District Court on felony charges:

Castillo

– Jose Castillo, 51, of 5551 S. 200th Ave., Hesperia, was arrested by the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) for a felony of first-degree criminal sexual conduct — victim under age 13. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Simon Gabriel Saldana, 28, of 6415 Garfield Rd., Hesperia, was arrested by the Michigan State Police (MSP) for a felony

of assault with a dangerous weapon/felonious assault. Bail: $7,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Zachary Scott VanGills, 37, of 9293 N. Business 31, Pentwater, was arrested by OCSO for a felony of assault with intent to great bodily harm less than murder. Bail: $1,000/cash.

– Eduardo Hernandez, 41, of 11799 Hidden Harbor, Holland, Michigan, was arrested by the Shelby Police Department (SPD) on felony charges of third-offense operating while intoxicated and carrying a concealed weapon. Bail: $1,000/personal recognizance.

– Zachary Lee Hackney, 29, of 1259 Ada Ave., Muskegon, was arrested by the Hart Police Department (HPD) for a felony of controlled substance possession — narcotic or cocaine less than 25 grams and a misdemeanor of disorderly person — window peeper.
