The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

Friday, April 2, 2021:

• 8:39 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office),  a 35-year-old Hesperia man was cited for illegal burn, South Riverview Drive, Newfield Township.

Saturday, April 3, 2021:

• 4:45 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 29-year-old Grand Rapids man was arrested for operating while intoxicated (OWI), Silver Lake Sand Dunes ORV area, Golden Township.

Sunday, April 4, 2021:

• 12:38 a.m., (OCSO), an 18-year-old Grand Rapids woman was arrested for assault, Park Avenue, Greenwood Township.
• 2:29 a.m., (OCSO), driving without insurance, West Polk Road, City of Hart.
• 6:53 p.m., (OCSO), a 29-year-old Holland man was cited for OWI, West Fox Road, Golden Township.
• 11:02 p.m., (OCSO),  a 21-year-old Hesperia woman was cited for operating while under the influence of drugs, East Garfield Road, Ferry Township.
